Job summary

Asian Paints Limited, a leading paints manufacturer in Mumbai, seeks a corporate finance professional to conduct financial budgeting for the group and monitor performance. You will prepare annual financial plans across sales, costs, capex, and working capital, and provide management with pricing and overhead insights.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience, exposure to MIS and planning, and the ability to analyse profitability and market conditions for domestic and international opportunities.

Qualifications

• MBA Finance or CA qualification is required (1st attempt).
• 1-2 years of prior work experience in corporate finance.
• Experience in MIS, Planning & Review in large pan-India corporates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial budgeting for the Group and monitor financial performance.
• Provide inputs to management for pricing, overhead controls and other decisions.
• Prepare annual financial plans for the group including sales, material cost, overhead, manpower cost, capex and working capital.
• Assess profitability and impact of pricing conditions; detailed overhead analysis.
• Prepare reports on competitor analyses domestic and global and economic analysis.
• Evaluate M&A opportunities and provide valuation; support due diligence and deal structuring.
• Support transaction closures and post-closure integration on Finance & Business fronts.
• Detailed evaluation of capex proposals submitted by various functions.

Job Purpose:

Business opportunity evaluations:

• Evaluate M&A Opportunity in domestic & international markets and provide valuation of opportunities
• Provide support for due diligence and deal structuring
• Support in transaction closure and post closure integration on the Finance & Business front

Capex Evaluation:

• Detailed evaluation of capital expenditure proposals submitted by different functions
