Job summary

WPP Media in Mumbai is seeking a Manager - Finance to lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting. The role focuses on delivering insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

You will partner with business units, develop annual budgets, perform variance analysis, and maintain dashboards and KPIs using Power BI/Tableau. Hybrid work arrangement with in-office presence.

Qualifications

• CA/CMA/MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification.
• 5–10 years FP&A, MIS reporting, or related roles.
• Experience in service sector, FMCG, or IT preferred.

Role Overview

The FP&A and MIS Reporting Specialist will be responsible for driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes. This role involves analyzing financial performance, preparing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts; provide actionable insights.
• Partner with business units to understand drivers of financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

MIS Reporting

• Prepare and deliver accurate and timely MIS reports for management and stakeholders.
• Consolidate financial data across departments and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
• Automate and streamline reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance.

Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data collection and validation.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and presentations for senior management.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• CA/CMA/MBA in Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5-10 years of experience in FP&A, MIS reporting, or related roles.
• Experience in [industry, e.g., service sector, FMCG, IT] preferred.
