Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a CS/IT degree, 5–8 years in cloud operations including leadership, and proficiency across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, plus IaC and DevOps know-how.

Overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and operations.

Seasoned professional with a strong background in cloud technologies, team leadership, and a passion for delivering top-notch cloud services.

• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers to achieve operational excellence.
• Develop and implement cloud infrastructure strategies, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Oversee cloud resource provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management.
• Establish and enforce operational processes, best practices, and compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring quick and effective resolution of cloud-related incidents.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address and mitigate operational issues.
• Collaborate with cloud service providers and vendors.
• Optimize cloud costs by identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost control measures.
• Monitor and analyze cloud usage and spending, making recommendations for optimization.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

5-8 years of experience in cloud operations, with 2+ in a leadership role.

Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.

Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.

Strong understanding of DevOps principles.

Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect a plus.
