Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG seeks an experienced Delivery Manager for Data Loss Prevention & Purview to manage daily DLP operations and policy governance. You will ensure secure configurations and provide security guidance across Windows, Linux, Azure, and cloud architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes monitoring data loss alerts, optimizing policies with the Data Security Lead, and delivering meaningful metrics to support KPIs and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or related field.
• 10–15 years in Cyber Operations with experience in data loss prevention and governance using Microsoft Purview.
• Certifications such as Security+, Network+, Azure Certified Security – Specialty are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of DLP capabilities inside security platform tooling.
• Manage and update DLP policies and handle policy decisions and exceptions.
• Provide security guidance for solutions protecting company data (DLP across systems).
• Ensure secure configuration standards for data loss protection and data exfiltration prevention are followed.
• Monitor and review Data security tooling and capabilities within Computacenter solutions.
• Review data loss alerts with Data Security Lead to address risks promptly.
• Produce metrics to support KPIs and identify gaps in data protection.

Life on the team

Experienced technical resource to support the configuration and operation of Computacenter Data Loss Prevention systems and capabilities ensuring the confidentiality Integrity and availability of Computacenter data across all critical systems and services.

What you’ll do

• As a Delivery Manager, working inside Security platform tooling you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the DLP capabilities, managing and updating policies and dealing with policy decisions and managing exceptions are required. You will:
• Provide security guidance for solutions protecting Computacenter Data such as DLP across all critical systems and services that process store or contain Computacenter data.
• Ensure secure configuration standards for data loss protection and data exfiltration prevention are adhered to.
• Manage and review the operation of Data security tooling solutions and Data Security capabilities within Computacenter solutions and services.
• Look at the operation of data security controls in the broader context of all operational security controls.
• Review data loss alerts and events in conjunction with the Data Security Led to ensure policies are optimised and emerging risks to data are addressed in a timely fashion.
• Produce meaningful metrics to support Key Performance Indicators.
• Identify gaps in protection of data across Computacenter platforms and services.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, Information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience working in a Cyber Operations environment, with demonstrable experience in data loss prevention and governance with Microsoft Purview.
• Relevant industry certifications such as Security+, Network+, Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate), or other security-focused certifications are desirable.

Skills and Competencies

• Deep technical understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Proven experience in managing and operating Data Loss Prevention solutions.
• Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Security and governance technologies especially relating to data security (Microsoft Purview).
• Understanding of data security configuration across multiple platforms (e.g. Azure, O365)
• Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking protocols, and cloud architectures.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Strong problem-solving skills to develop effective security recommendations and solutions.
• Ability to build and operate processes with focus on continuous service improvement.

Leadership Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
