Job summary

PwC is seeking a Senior Microsoft Purview Consultant in India to lead end-to-end Purview implementations, design enterprise compliance architectures, and advise on data protection, insider risk, and regulatory programs.

You will work across governance, DLP, eDiscovery, and AI readiness while collaborating with Legal, Compliance, HR, and IT teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in M365 Security & Compliance with Purview leadership.
• SC-400 certification – mandatory.
• Deep Purview leadership and deployment experience.
• Strong understanding of GDPR, DPDPA, HIPAA, SOX, PCI-DSS.
• Experience in enterprise or regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead Purview deployments across Information Protection and labeling.
• Define DLP and insider risk management strategies.
• Lead stakeholder workshops with Legal, Compliance, HR, InfoSec, IT.
• Integrate Purview with Defender, Intune, and identity signals.
• Provide governance for AI readiness using classification and DLP controls.
• Mentor junior consultants and review designs.
• Define KPIs and maturity models for compliance.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails.
