Job summary

SBI Card is seeking a skilled Data Loss Prevention specialist to maintain and secure our DLP platform across endpoints, web, and email.

You will lead policy updates, coordinate with vendors, and work with Compliance, HR, and business teams to ensure rapid response to incidents and data leakage risks. This on-site role is based in Gurugram, India.

Eligibility includes a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT and experience with Symantec/Broadcom DLP. Certifications such as ISO27001 or CEH are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with Data Leakage Prevention platforms and content management.
• Familiarity with Symantec/Broadcom DLP solutions.
• Understanding of data-in-use, data-in-motion, and data-at-rest concepts.
• Industry certifications such as ISO27001 or CEH are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DLP program, including policy updates and investigations.
• Collaborate with vendors to implement DLP tools and processes.
• Manage incident response and ensure timely alert investigation.

• Deploy data classification and data marking across platforms.
• Integrate DLP with SIEM, NAC, and vulnerability management.
• Oversee operations like patches and system upgrades.
• Handle e-discovery for data at rest.

Role Purpose

Responsible for running and maintaining overall platform, assuring deployment across egress points and participate in Data-Leakage-Incident investigations as and when required.

Role Accountability

1. Lead the existing DLP Program, update, upgrade, design change, policy configuration & data leakage investigations
2. Work with DLP Program/ Product vendors to implement and support the DLP tools, technology and processes. Including identification, assessment of tools, technology, partners/ vendors
3. Understand and follow the incident response process through event escalations, ensure DLP alerts are investigated, responded and actioned on time
4. Collaborate with internal control and support teams such as Compliance, HR, business functions
5. Participate in the deployment of a Data Classification, Data Marking, and DLP solution
6. Assist with the development and testing of proposed DLP solutions. Interface with system owners to coordinate new endpoint deployments
7. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate DLP systems with other solutions like SIEM, NAC and Vulnerability Management
8. Perform operations and maintenance tasks such as patching and upgrades on all DLP system components
9. Respond to troubleshooting tickets associated with DLP and Data masking, Information Rights management solution
10. Manage e-discovery program for Data-at-rest
11. Perform process documentation and compliance adherence

Measures of Success

1. Uptime of DLP Platform, implementation, upgrade and life-cycle management
2. Development and maturity of DLP Policies and False Positives under acceptable threshold
3. Timely delivery of project plans, milestone updates, presentations, assessment reports etc. to relevant stakeholders
4. KPI/KRI as per defined threshold
5. Process Adherence as per MOU

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

1. Understanding and Hands-on experience on Data Leakage Prevention Platform including Infra & Content Management & Leakage Threat Vector
2. Understanding of DLP solutions, preferably from Symantec / Broadcom, Data Classification, IRM etc. and Data-in-use, Data-in-motion & Data-at-rest
3. Experienced with deployment, maintenance and operations of one or more DLP solutions on endpoint, web and eMail
4. DLP Product OEM Certification on related technology
5. At least one relevant Industry standard certifications such as ISO27001, CEH etc.
