Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Manager - Data and Analytics Advisory to lead MES platform design, build and support across AVEVA, Proficy, FactoryTalk and SAP DM/ME/MII. The role focuses on data prep, feature development, and production deployment in a fast-moving AI-driven environment.

You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, implement data solutions, and troubleshoot issues to ensure robust MES operations at scale.

Qualifications

• End-to-end MES implementation experience (at least 1 full lifecycle)
• Exposure to MES platforms like AVEVA, Proficy, FactoryTalk, Apriso, SAP DM/ME/MII
• Strong understanding of shop floor systems, manufacturing data models and production operations (OEE, traceability, quality, scheduling)
• Experience integrating MES/PLM with PLCs, SCADA, and ERP (SAP/Oracle)
• Familiarity with OPC, MQTT, REST APIs, SQL databases, and edge computing
• Strong data structures and database knowledge
• Ability to design solutions and communicate with stakeholders
• Willingness to learn new skills and technologies

Role : MES Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support MES platforms like AVEVA, Proficy, FactoryTalk, Apriso, SAP DM/ME/MII etc. for Genpact Customers.
• Design, implement and support product features in collaboration with business and Technology stakeholders
• Clean, prepare and optimize data for ingestion and consumption
• Collaborate on the implementation of new features
• Build continuous integration, test-driven development and production deployment environments
• Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis to proactively resolve product and operational issues

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience MES implementation with full lifecycle experience of at least 1 end to end MES implementations.
• Good understanding of MES platforms like AVEVA, Proficy, FactoryTalk, Apriso, SAP DM/ME/MII etc.
• Strong understanding of shop floor systems, manufacturing data models, and production operations (OEE, traceability, quality, scheduling).
• Proficient in integrating MES/PLM with PLCs, SCADA systems, and ERP (SAP/Oracle).
• Familiarity with standards like OPC, MQTT, REST APIs, SQL databases, and edge computing.
• Strong understanding of data structures, databases
• Strong understanding of solution and technical design
• Has a strong problem solving and analytical mindset.
• Able to influence and communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with team members and business stakeholders
• Able to quickly pick up new programming languages, technologies, and frameworks
• Fair understanding of developing complex data solutions
• Experience working on end-to-end solution design
• Willing to learn new skills and technologies

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Exposure to regulated industries like pharmaceuticals, aerospace, or automotive.
• Experience with MES in on-premise/cloud/hybrid architectures (Azure, AWS).
• Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL, data transformation and analytics functions
• Understanding of digital twin, predictive maintenance, and IIoT analytics integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
