Job summary

Fidelity International's AMP Platform Delivery team in Bengaluru seeks a Manager Data Analyst to define, analyse and deliver investment data capabilities across Research, Sustainability, Equities, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset workflows.

You will work with Investment teams, Product Owners and Data Engineers to translate business requirements into scalable, governed data products that enable AI, analytics and front-office decision making, while ensuring data quality and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience delivering technology, data, product or transformation initiatives within Investment Management.
• Proven experience delivering front-office data or technology solutions from discovery through implementation.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and data governance.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and modern data tools.
• Strong ability to translate complex investment requirements into data specifications.

• Support roadmap definition and backlog management for investment data capabilities.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers and Analysts to identify opportunities and define data requirements.
• Analyse existing data sources for rationalisation and standardisation.
• Guide development of data models, definitions, and data governance.

About your team

AMP Delivery is responsible for the design and delivery of all changes in business process and/or technology solutions that support the growth for Fidelity’s Global Investment Solutions & Services business.

We partner with Investment Management, Asset Management Operations and Distribution teams across London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Toronto, Australia, Singapore, and China.

The Research & Sustainability team delivers strategic initiatives that enhance investment decision-making through modern research workflows, investment data platforms, sustainability capabilities, advanced analytics, and AI-powered solutions.

We are increasingly leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), frontier AI models, and agentic workflows to transform how investment professionals discover insights, conduct research, and make investment decisions across Equities, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset.

About your role

Fidelity is investing in several strategic programmes to transform the way investment professionals discover insights, conduct research, manage portfolios, and deliver superior client outcomes. As a Manager Data Analyst, you will play a key role in defining, analysing and delivering investment data capabilities that support Research, Sustainability, Equities, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset workflows.

Working closely with Investment teams, Product Owners, Architects, Data Engineers and Enterprise Data teams, you will ensure business requirements are translated into scalable, governed and reusable data products that enable AI, analytics and front-office decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Support roadmap definition and backlog management for investment data capabilities supporting Research & Sustainability workflows, including analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, Sustainability teams and senior stakeholders to identify opportunities and define data requirements that improve investment decision-making, research productivity and workflow efficiency.
• Analyse existing data sources and identify opportunities for rationalisation, standardisation and reuse across investment products and front-office workflows.
• Guide development of conceptual and logical data models, attribute-level data requirements, business glossaries and canonical data definitions supporting investment platforms.
• Define end-to-end data lineage from source systems and Data Products through to consuming applications.
• Partner with Enterprise Data, Snowflake, Data Marketplace and Data Product teams to define, onboard and drive adoption of governed Data Products across Research & Sustainability.
• Define business ownership, stewardship, data quality and metadata requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise governance, security, privacy and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Data Engineers and business stakeholders to translate complex investment requirements into scalable, governed and reusable data solutions.

About you

With a solid background in the analysis, design and implementation of complex investment management technology solutions, you’re the specialist we need. You bring:

• 7+ years' experience delivering technology, data, product or transformation initiatives within Investment Management.
• Proven experience delivering complex front-office data or technology solutions from discovery through implementation.
• Strong experience in data analysis/modelling, business metadata and canonical data definitions.
• Experience defining requirements for and working with enterprise Data Products and modern data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Proven experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, including leading large-scale data modernization and migration initiatives from legacy data warehouses, on-premises systems and fragmented data ecosystems to a scalable cloud-based data platform.
• Experience with data catalogues such as Collibra, Alation or Purview (if applicable).
• Experience working with cloud-native data platforms and modern ELT pipelines.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into scalable data requirements.
• Understanding of AI-ready data architecture and semantic data models.
• Good understanding of sustainability and stewardship processes, including ESG research, proxy voting, sustainable investing regulations (e.g. SFDR, SDR) and ESG reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
• Understanding of modern data engineering concepts including ELT/ETL, incremental processing, data pipelines, data contracts, observability and data testing.
