Overview

Position: Manager – Credit Analysis

Location: Gift City Gandhinagar

Only from Gujarat

This is a work-from-office, individual contributor role requiring experience in banking credit/risk functions.

Responsibilities

• Independent Credit assessment of prospective Large and Mid-Corporates (annual revenues of more than Rs.1000 crs) for fund based exposure such as Working Capital, Overdraft, Cash Credit, Term Loan, and non-fund based exposure like Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee, etc.
• Review Branch proposals and spreadsheets from the Business team, along with annual reports, credit rating rationale, equity research reports, and industry research to arrive at an independent credit recommendation.
• Prepare a Risk Advice note for submission to the Segment Head highlighting key risks and mitigations and finalize the term sheet in consultation with the Business Unit.
• Monitor economic and industry developments as well as financial parameters of clients to detect potential risk triggers or signs of stress and take appropriate risk mitigation actions.
• Monitor portfolio and track early warning systems.
• Keep up to date with RBI guidelines as well as bank internal policies.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits. Interact regularly with Credit Rating Agencies and external consultants such as stock auditors.
• Provide timely inputs to Statutory and RBI auditors on respective portfolio accounts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Candidate must be from Banking with credit/risk roles only.
• The candidate must be a CA (1st/2nd attempt) or MBA from tier 1/2 colleges.
• Experience in conducting credit analysis of mid and large corporates.
• Experience: 5 – 8 years of experience in credit analysis or a related field.
