Job summary

ReNew in Gurgaon is seeking a Manager Contracts – RE (Solar / Wind) to oversee contractual terms for wind and solar projects. The role involves vendor management, O&M agreement finalisations, and ensuring compliance across finance, technical and tax teams.

The candidate should have an engineering degree or MBA and 10–12 years in contract management within the energy sector, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Discussion and finalization of term-sheets with OEMs for wind asset construction.
• External O&M business discussions and finalization of O&M agreements.
• Finalization of O&M agreements between ReNew Project SPV and OEMs for wind assets.
• Contract compliance with timely preparation of key terms and circulation to teams.
• Active involvement in due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and identifying gaps.
• Manage contractual correspondences and OEM interfaces for contractual matters and day-to-day queries.
• Litigation support: provide data for major disputes to the legal team.

Job Description

Role – Manager Contracts – RE (Solar / Wind)

Location – Gurgaon

Qualification – Engineering Graduate / MBA

Experience – 10 to 12 Years of experience understanding contractual terms

KRA :

• Understanding of IPP Wind business
• Experience in handling contract management profile
• Awareness of statutory requirements
• Communication & MIS
• Vendor Management & Negotiation

Discussion and finalization of term‑sheets execution with various OEMs for planned construction of wind assets.

External O&M Business discussion and finalization of O&M Agreements for new business opportunity of ReNew’s service entity.

External O&M Agreements: discussion and finalization of O&M Agreements execution between ReNew Project SPV and OEMs for O&M Services for the planned construction of wind assets ensuring the requirements of Finance, Technical, Tax, operation teams and other concerned teams.

Contract compliance: ensuring timely preparation of key contractual terms and circulate to concerned team for newly executed agreements for the adherence to contractual terms.

Mergers and acquisitions: actively involved in due diligence activities with respect to contractual adequacy and support to operations team by highlighting identified gaps and taking up with concerned.

Contractual correspondences: understand the contractual issue and send notices to OEMs, works as interface for OEMs for any contractual matter. Including resolution of day‑to‑day contractual queries/matters by discussion and engagement of internal team members and OEMs as per requirement.

Litigation support: for any major disputes, assist legal team for providing the related information along with supporting data.
