303C Micron Semiconductor Technology India is looking for a Manager, Construction Manager to oversee interface management on large-scale industrial and semiconductor projects. This role requires you to coordinate interactions among contractors and engineering teams, establish a structured Interface Management System, and resolve construction-related conflicts effectively.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management and possess 10-18+ years of experience in construction management, particularly in semiconductor facilities and industrial projects.
As the Manager, Construction Manager at Micron, you will be central to managing and aligning all construction interfaces for large‑scale industrial and semiconductor projects.Your role will direct interdisciplinary construction operations, ensuring smooth integration and completion across contractors and project teams.
Lead and manage all construction interactions between EPCC contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, commissioning teams, vendors, and client partners.
Establish and maintain a structured Interface Management System (IMS) to track, monitor, and resolve interface issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate interdisciplinary construction efforts involving civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, HVAC, process utilities, cleanroom systems, and facility infrastructure.
Identify interface risks, scope overlaps, implementation gaps, access constraints, and constructability conflicts between contractors and project packages.
Facilitate interface meetings, coordination workshops, technical discussions, and daily execution reviews to ensure alignment across all collaborators.
Ensure timely closure of interface actions, RFIs, technical queries, change requests, and construction coordination issues impacting project progress.
Monitor construction sequencing, area handovers, workfront availability, and contractor dependencies to support efficient project execution.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Safety, Planning, Cost Controls, and Commissioning teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
Manage interface documentation including Interface Registers, Responsibility Matrices, Coordination Logs, Action Trackers, and interface risk assessments.
Support schedule integration and construction planning activities by identifying critical interfaces impacting achievements and commissioning readiness.
Ensure contractors align with project procedures, communication protocols, engineering deliverables, and interface management requirements.
Resolve field‑level coordination conflicts related to utilities routing, equipment installation, structural clashes, shutdown planning, temporary facilities, and construction access.
Drive collaboration, communication transparency, and proactive problem‑solving among all project collaborators to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor contractor performance related to interface responsiveness, coordination effectiveness, and execution compliance.
Ensure proper reporting and communication of interface status, project constraints, and risk mitigation strategies to senior management.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.
Master’s Degree or MBA in Project Management / Construction Management, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
Solid grasp of EPCC project delivery approaches, industrial construction processes, and contractor collaboration techniques.
Knowledge of semiconductor facilities, cleanroom construction, high‑tech manufacturing environments, or critically important infrastructure is highly preferred.
Strong technical understanding of multidisciplinary engineering systems including civil, structural, MEP, process utilities, HVAC, piping, instrumentation, and commissioning systems.
Skilled in interface management software, project monitoring systems, construction processes, and collaboration platforms.
Strong communication, negotiation, collaboration, and conflict resolution capabilities.
Ability to manage complex contractor environments and high‑pressure construction schedules effectively.
10–18+ years of experience in construction management, project coordination, interface management, or EPC/EPCC project delivery.
Minimum 5+ years managing interfaces between multiple contractors on large industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.
Experience in semiconductor fabs, cleanroom facilities, data centers, advanced manufacturing plants, or large‑scale industrial construction projects is highly preferred.
Proven experience coordinating multinational contractors, consultants, commissioning teams, and client collaborators in fast‑track projects.
