Job summary

Macquarie in India seeks a Compliance professional to support Central Service Group within Risk Management. You will work with Corporate Operations, Financial Management, People & Engagement, Risk Management, and Legal & Governance to strengthen regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include reviewing change initiatives, surveillance escalations, mobility classifications, voice recording compliance, regulatory obligations, incidents, and monitoring activities.

Qualifications

• Understanding of risk management, compliance, and control frameworks within financial services.
• Strong analytical skills, including data quality assessments, trend analysis, root cause investigations, and control reviews.
• Excellent attention to detail, with proven capability in governance, documentation, and maintaining effective control processes.
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, automation opportunities, and data-driven efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will provide Compliance support to the corporate services groups, including Corporate Operations, Financial Management, People and Engagement, Risk Management, and Legal & Governance, as well as regional compliance teams.
• You will review change initiatives, surveillance escalations, mobility classifications, voice recording compliance, regulatory obligations, incidents, and compliance monitoring activities to help manage regulatory and operational risk.
• The role also involves preparing risk and control reporting, supporting training initiatives, and assisting with audit and governance-related queries.

Requirements

• Understanding of risk management, compliance, and control frameworks within financial services along with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills, including data quality assessments, trend analysis, root cause investigations, and control reviews.
• Excellent attention to detail, with proven capability in governance, documentation, and maintaining effective control processes.
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, automation opportunities, and data-driven efficiencies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to clearly present insights and recommendations to diverse audiences.
