Job summary

M&G India is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 specialist to lead collaboration services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and Intune. You will guide technology teams, manage identity and access processes, and coordinate incident response to restore services quickly.

You will drive platform improvements, embed security controls, produce documentation, and collaborate across Architecture, Infra and Security to reduce technical debt while aligning with Agile practices.

• Deliver platform improvements, changes and strategic transformation programmes.

• Produce clear documentation and share knowledge across teams.

• Act as a project manager from ideation to delivery and influence decisions.
• Lead and develop a team of technical engineers at all levels.
• Articulate business value to senior stakeholders and challenge where needed.
• Understand risk and controls around platforms.
• Adopt Agile ways of working with Jira/Confluence.
• Focus on scalability, resilience, security, quality and rigour for platform delivery.

Act as the subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 collaboration services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and Intune, providing specialist guidance and direction to technology teams and stakeholders.

Support identity and access management processes, ensuring mailbox provisioning, permissions, authentication and access models operate smoothly in partnership with the IDAM team.

Resolve complex service issues and coordinate incident response across internal teams and external partners to restore service quickly and effectively.

Deliver platform improvements and new features, contributing to change initiatives, technology upgrades and strategic transformation programmes.

Embed strong security and compliance controls, working with Security, Risk and Compliance teams to maintain safe and governed collaboration services.

Produce clear documentation and share knowledge across teams, helping build capability and strengthen operational maturity.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Architecture, Infrastructure, Security and Network to ensure aligned, end-to-end service delivery.
• Champion continuous improvement, driving simplification, optimisation and reduction of technical debt across the M365 environment.

Can act as a project manager from ideation process, influencing decisions to delivery and proactively look for opportunities and tools to improve the process.

Should be able to manage team of technical engineers and lead at all levels.

Should be able to clearly articulate business values to the senior stakeholders and should be able to challenge them.

Understand the risk and controls around the platforms.

Be able to appreciate truly Agile ways of working/development using tools like Jira/Confluence.

Collaborate with peers across various levels for experiential learnings.

Focus on scalability, resilience, security, quality and continuous rigour to reduce technical debt.
