Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a DevOps Architect/Lead in Bengaluru to guide the Engineering Productivity and Quality tooling team, define technology directions, and design internal tooling to improve developer experience and DevOps adoption. You will oversee cloud infrastructure automation using Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform, and provision containers and orchestration with Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Technical leader with ability to socialize decisions through excellent communication.
• Design, automate, and operate cloud infrastructure using Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of DevOPS metrics (DORA) and quality engineering practices.
• Hands-on programming in Java, Python, Go, and C.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Harness, Jenkins, or similar.
• Provisioning containers and orchestration systems (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS/CE or related field.
• 3+ years experience in technical leadership.
• SaaS experience with AWS and similar technologies.

What you’ll achieve

As a DevOPS Architect/Lead, you will

• Lead, and guide Engineering Productivity and Quality tooling team in making right technology decisions and implementing them based on the best practices and business requirements
• Design internal tooling to improve the Developer experience and help adopt DevOps best practices
• Recommend appropriate areas of automation for better Developer experience while improving efficiency and standardization.

Essential Requirements

• 2. Designing, Automating, and operating cloud infrastructure using Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, or a similar tools in Cloud computing environment

• 4. Hands on Programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, Go, and C
• 5. Building continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for software delivery using Harness, Jenkins or similar
• 6. Provisioning container and container orchestration systems in any Cloud computing provider platform (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes etc..)

Desirable Requirements

• 1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study
