Responsibilities

• Planning & design of medium/large hydro power projects.

• Analysis and design of RCC structures and coordination of drawings.
• Estimation of BOQ and preparation of drawings; hands-on with AutoCAD.
• Interact with client and site team to resolve technical issues.
• Review MQP and FQP for civil works; engage with stakeholders.

Purpose & Scope of Position

The Project Engineer (PE) will be part of an engineering stream providing engineering services to large and small projects. The PE provides support to the Project Manager (PM) and Engineering Manager (EM) and is responsible for supervising a team of working engineer and designers. The PE provides leadership and assists in the resolution of all technical issues related to the discipline.

Experience

B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering. M.Tech – Structural Engineering will be preferable.

• Minimum 10 yrs of Experience with experience in Hydro projects worked atleast one detailed Engineering project of 25MW capcity and independently manged a team of Engineers and designers of Hydro Projects with consulting environment.

Qualification

• Postgraduate or graduate in an engineering discipline
• Registration as a professional engineer with the governing authority (preferable)

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & design of medium/large hydro power projects
• Prepare independently layouts and tender documents for the above, bid evaluation, review of contractor's / designer's designs and drawings for Hydro Power Projects.
• Analysis, design, detailing, coordination & preparation of construction drawings related to hydro power structures like dams/barrages, underground structures, Powerhouse etc.,
• Feasibiity and Due Diliengence Studies.
• Familiarity with Indian, British, American and European Codes would be an added advantage
• Analysis and design of RCC with various codes and standard Indian as well as international.
• Estimation of BOQ and preparation of drawing. Hands on experience in AutoCAD will be added advantage.
• Candidate should interact with client and site team to resolve the technical and project related issues. Review of MQP and FQP for the Civil works.
• Discussion with All Stakeholders involved in project
