Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an experienced People Experience leader to drive recruitment strategy, talent acquisition excellence, and leadership development. You will oversee senior hiring, diversity sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration to build a robust talent pipeline.

You will influence senior HR and business leaders, ensure legal compliance, and lead multiple projects while enhancing efficiency through data analytics and innovative AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years, MBA/MS with 12+ years, PhD or associate's degree with 10+ years
• Proven ability to influence senior business and HR leaders
• Strong understanding of federal and state laws and regulations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Substantial experience with analytics tools
• Proven track record of strategic sourcing
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the department, ensuring alignment with short-term goals.
• Actively share knowledge and identify potential improvements in processes or products, taking risks to develop innovative ideas.
• Solve moderately complex problems within the department and assist with issues outside the department, providing technical guidance and support.
• Oversee operational activities, manage multiple projects, and forecast resource requirements, often involving cross-functional representatives.
• Recognize the need for development in others, collaborate to create development plans, and manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, coaching, and ongoing assessment.
• Solicit input, explain complex concepts, and persuade others to adopt a point of view while effectively sharing own perspectives and rationale.
• Craft and execute a recruitment strategy to attract and retain top talent, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and evaluating employment factors.
• Make salary recommendations, oversee the entire recruitment cycle, and support full-life cycle recruitment needs across all business units.
• Develop and support a local Employee Value Proposition, identify talent acquisition issues, and develop corrective action plans.
• Lead senior-level hiring activities, develop creative diversity sourcing strategies, and participate in global Talent Acquisition projects to build a robust talent pipeline.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• Bachelors Degree with at least 15 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 12 years of experience or PhD or associate's degree with at least 10 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior business and HR leaders effectively
• Strong understanding of federal and state laws and regulations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Substantial experience with various analytic tools
• Proven track record of implementing successful strategic sourcing strategies
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

• Master’s degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience
• Prior experience with applicant tracking systems
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
• Effective conflict management skills
• Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, includingrisk management and ethical use
