Job summary

Godrej Industries Group is seeking aSenior Costing Lead to manage end-to-end costing, budgeting, and commercial control for civil works across projects. You will ensure financial discipline, optimize costs, and align with project objectives.

You will prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cash flows, monitor expenditures, review BOQs, and support tendering and contract finalization while driving value engineering and governance across the program.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end costing for civil works across projects.
• Proven ability to prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cash flows.
• Strong cost control, risk mitigation, and governance adherence.
• Proficiency in ERP/cost management systems such as SAP/Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Lead project costing across lifecycle stages including feasibility, design, tendering, and execution.
• Prepare and validate detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cash flows for civil works.
• Drive end-to-end cost control by monitoring budgets, validating commercial decisions, and mitigating overruns.
• Review BOQs, rate analysis, and support tendering, vendor evaluation, and contract finalization.
• Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders; ensure commercial accuracy and control.
• Partner with site, procurement, and finance teams to drive cost efficiency and timely decisions.
• Maintain cost benchmarks, rate databases, and track commodity trends.
• Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize costs without compromising quality or timelines.
• Provide periodic MIS, dashboards, and actionable insights to leadership.
• Ensure strong governance and adherence to cost control frameworks, processes, and audit requirements.
• Leverage ERP/cost management systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent) for tracking and reporting.
