We build cutting-edge financial products powered by real-time risk modelling, seamless distribution, and high-volume transaction processing.

Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic, analytical, and business-focused Manager Business Finance to join our Lending Finance team. In this role, you will act as a key financial partner to business leads, product managers, and risk teams across Personal Loans, Merchant Loans, and Credit Cards portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Modelling & Portfolio Economics
    • Build, maintain, and refine end-to-end financial & revenue models for lending products (Merchant Loans, Personal Loans, Postpaid).
    • Model monthly/daily interest accruals, processing fee (PF) yields, First Loss Default Guarantee (FLDG) provisions, collection costs, and Cost of Funds (COF) across diverse lender partners.
    • Conduct scenario modelling (AOP vs. Actuals, MBR updates, Team Plans) to assess the impact of take-rate changes, volume mix shifts, and credit policy tightening.
  • Business Partnering & Decision Support
    • Act as a co-pilot to Business Heads to evaluate new commercial constructs, lender tie‑ups, and product feature launches.
    • Analyse unit economics (Revenue per Disbursed/Booked Card, Net ROI, Take Rates, Risk‑Adjusted Returns) at a product and lender level to guide business strategy.
    • Analyse risk vs. return trade‑offs (GCL vs. Net ROI) across partner lenders to optimize portfolio allocation.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
    • Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) creation, monthly business reviews (MBR), and quarterly rolling forecasts.
    • Perform variance analysis (Actuals vs. AOP / MBR / Team Plan) for Disbursements, Revenue, Gross Margin, and Business EBITDA.
    • Drive tight cost management across COGS (API/Bureau, AWS, FLDG provisions) and Opex (Promotional Expense, Collections, Manpower).
  • Leadership Reporting & Management Information
    • Prepare crisp, CEO/CFO-ready executive updates, flash reports, and board presentations highlighting core drivers, margin bridges, and key operational metrics.
    • Ensure data integrity and seamless tracking of activation metrics, loan book sizing, and revenue realization.
Key Qualifications & Skills

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a top‑tier institute.

Experience: 45years of progressive experience in Business Finance, FP&A, or Financial Strategy.

Domain Expertise: Prior experience in FinTech, NBFCs, Retail Banks, or Lending Platforms is strongly preferred. Deep understanding of lending P&L drivers (Interest income, PF, FLDG, Loss Provisions, Bureau/API costs) is a major plus.

Financial Modelling: Advanced Excel modelling skills (ability to build loan book projections, waterfall mechanics, and daily/monthly accrual frameworks from scratch).

Analytical Mindset: Masterful in handling large datasets, identifying underlying patterns, and translating complex financial data into business stories.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgement. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
