Job summary

Boston Consulting Group in India is seeking a Manager – BCG Vantage on the Topic Activation path within the Principal Investors and Private Equity practice. You will work with global teams to provide industry and functional expertise, develop AI-enabled products and tools, and support knowledge assets for case teams and client engagements.

You will help commercialize topics, contribute analysis to proposals and workshops, and mentor junior colleagues while embracing agile delivery and GenAI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years consulting experience in PIPE or 4+ years industry experience; 6-10+ years preferred.
• Fluency in English and outstanding interpersonal/communication skills.
• Proficiency with GenAI and modern development tools; ability to learn new tools as the landscape evolves.
• Experience managing product roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment; data-driven decisions; agile/scrum delivery.

What You'll Do

As a Manager – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Principal Investors and Private Equity (PIPE) Practice Area you will work in a growing global team, providing industry/functional expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. The team uses a variety of number of AI and advanced data analytics tools; and you will be expected to develop expertise on those. You'll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.

You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector, in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials. Additionally, as a Manager – BCG Vantage, you will help build, own and enhance AI-enabled products, tools and knowledge assets – taking them from problem definition through build, deployment on live cases, and adoption. You will work closely with case teams and business leaders to drive real usage and impact, while helping onboard, train and enable junior colleagues on your topic/sector and on new products.

BCG's PIPE Practice Area works with the world's largest investment firms, serving six client asset classes: Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Infrastructure & Real Estate Funds, Family Offices, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Plans. Likewise, PIPE topics cut across not only these asset classes, but also across industries (e.g., Health Care, Consumer, Technology, etc.) and sub-topics (e.g., Tech Capital, Private Credit, Environmental, Social and Governance, etc.).

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years consulting experience in PIPE required; candidates with consulting experience preferred


• In lieu of consulting experience, 4+ years minimum industry experience required; 6-10+ years of industry experience strongly preferred


• Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)


• Fluency in English;


• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment


• Practical fluency with GenAI and modern development tools (e.g. APIs, custom GPTs / AI Skills, coding assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor, GitHub, cloud platforms) strongly preferred; comfort learning new tools as the landscape evolves


• Demonstrated experience managing product roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment, with comfort in data-driven decision making and familiarity with agile/scrum delivery frameworks
