Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management expert to lead SSO/MFA strategies across large-scale enterprise environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure GDPR/HIPAA/NIST/SOX/GXP compliance, implement secure authentication controls, and drive adoption of Okta/Azure AD/Ping Identity solutions for 50,000+ users worldwide.

Your work will include KPI reporting, incident response, and vendor management to deliver scalable, resilient IAM infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
• 4+ years in identity and access management with at least 3 years on SSO.
• Strong IT security and IAM framework knowledge.
• Deep understanding of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and MFA.
• Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions and identity providers such as Okta/Azure AD/Ping Identity.
• Experience leading IAM teams and managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Authentication strategy across enterprise applications and platforms
• Drive Single Sign-On (SSO) adoption and improve the identity management ecosystem
• Oversee design, implementation, and optimization of SSO/MFA frameworks
• Ensure authentication solutions are scalable, resilient, and integrated with internal, third-party, and cloud-based services
• Collaborate with IT, security, development, product, infrastructure, cloud engineering, application development, and business stakeholders
• Provide guidance on secure access management best practices
• Ensure SSO solutions align with GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, SOX, and GXP requirements
• Lead development and implementation of authentication and authorization security controls
• Evaluate and select identity management tools and manage vendor relationships
• Lead investigation and resolution of SSO/MFA incidents and implement improvements
• Improve end-user login experience, reduce friction, and increase adoption
• Develop SSO performance and security KPIs and report on effectiveness, engagement, breaches, and related metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
• 4+ years of experience in identity and access management, including at least 3 years focused on SSO solutions
• Strong background in IT security, authentication protocols, and IAM frameworks supporting SSO for more than 50,000 users
• Deep understanding of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, identity federation, MFA, and cloud-based IAM solutions
• Knowledge of identity providers such as Okta, Azure AD, or Ping Identity
• Ability to solve highly complex authentication and authorization problems in a global environment
• Understanding of encryption, tokenization, and secure protocols
• Experience leading IAM support, engineering, and operations teams within a global business unit
• Ability to manage resources outside direct reports and across multiple teams
• Understanding of SOX and GXP quality regulations and guidelines
• Proven track record managing and executing long-term complex projects
• Experience in an agile work environment
• Master’s degree in relevant discipline preferred
• Deep expertise in Ping Identity solutions highly desirable
