Job summary

Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited in Gujarat seeks a Manager - Application And Performance Testing Lab to lead QC and application development, ensure testing protocols, and maintain equipment and ISO certifications.

You will plan investigations for non-conforming results, coordinate calibration, and provide training across manufacturing and QC groups.

Qualifications

• Experience in lab management for QC/QC in manufacturing/R&D.
• Hands-on experience with Li-ion cell assembly and testing (coin & pouch).
• Knowledge of battery materials: cathode, anode, electrolyte.
• Experience with electrochemical methods: cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, charge/discharge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct QC and Application development activities to deliver results.
• Develop analytical/testing protocols for planned products.
• Monitor laboratory data and metrics and escalate investigations as needed.
• Drive investigations for non-conforming lab results.
• Identify training needs and arrange for training.
• Ensure testing facility is available and ensure calibration/maintenance of equipment.
• Provide hands-on leadership within manufacturing and QC groups.
• Obtain ISO and other certifications for the lab.

Job Purpose

• Plan, coordinate, and direct QC and Application development activities, to support manufacturing and R&D in timely delivery of results / products to customers.
• To ensure analytical / testing protocols are developed for all planned products.
• Monitoring laboratory data and metrics on a regular basis to ensure that appropriate investigation, corrective action, and/or escalation is conducted.
• Drive investigation in case of non-conforming laboratory test results.
• Identify training needs and arrange for training.
• To ensure adequate testing facility is available at all times.
• To ensure & plan timely calibration / maintenance of all the equipment and instruments.
• To provide hands on leadership and management of day-to-day quality interactions within the manufacturing group and QC group.
• Obtain ISO and other specific certifications for the lab.
