Job summary

CohnReznick in India is seeking a Manager to join the National Assurance AH team. You will lead audit engagements, review financial statements, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality assurance services.

The role requires 5+ years in public accounting, strong leadership, and expertise in US GAAP/GAAS. This hybrid position offers in-office collaboration about 3 days a week across our offices in India.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm.
• Exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP and GAAS.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills and strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Computer expertise including knowledge of audit-preparation software and an understanding of the impact of technology.
• Proven technical skills with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook; audit software - CCH Engagement experience.
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive client engagements.
• Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes & workpapers
• Demonstrate professional creativity in dealing with client matters and make constructive suggestions to improve client operations
• Effectively analyze client transactions, recognizing potential or existing problems, conducts appropriate research, and works closely with managers on resolving the issue
• Understand the purpose of accounting and general ledger recording procedures Perform auditing procedures in accordance with firm standards and in an accurate, thorough and timely manner, including proposing journal entries to client general ledgers
• Serve as the Engagement Lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverable
• Develop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedules Monitor project status against the work plan and communicate schedule adjustments to managers and/or partners
• Oversee, mentor, and develop staff
• Develop a professional relationship with the client and serve as the primary point-of-contact

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

Your Team

This position will support our Assurance – AH team and as an Audit Industry AH Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to clients in the AH sectors. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand industry-specific challenges and provide actionable insights that drive business performance.
