Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is a must; MBA preferred.
• 12-15 years of supply chain management experience.

• Experience in CoE environment and spend analytics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team of commodity/account management and strategic sourcing professionals, setting day-to-day goals.
• Negotiate terms and service levels with suppliers to improve effectiveness.
• Lead category analytics, cost estimation, and spend insights for indirect categories.
• Drive productivity initiatives and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
• Develop team strategy and prioritize activities across multiple countries.
• Demonstrate strong program and change management skills.

About The Role

Supervises team of entry to intermediate level Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professionals or supervisors, setting day-to-day goals and objectives. Responsible for setting negotiation terms and service levels in for suppliers to improve commodity management and sourcing effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Sourcing knowledge
• Knowledge and exposure to Indirect categories, cost reduction, sourcing, best practice RFQ’s, negotiation process thereby guiding team to drive best outcomes for Carrier
• Strong exposure in category analytics, productivity levers, cost estimation, negotiations, and stakeholder management
• Should have worked directly in analyzing Total Cost of Ownership of products/services
• Hands on experience in working on spend data to drive actionable insights for spend category
• Should have experience driving initiatives for indirect categories to enable productivity
• Team strategy
• Strategic thinking- ability to think through and independently define priorities for team
• Periodic engagement with stakeholders to define strategy, align on strategy, adapt strategy based on changing business needs and stakeholders expectations
• People management
• Excellent People Management skills coupled with an empathetic leadership style

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree from a premier institute is a must, MBA preferred
• 12-15 years of supply chain management experience, exposure to CoE environment essential
• Strong sourcing knowledge
• Ability to work in a global environment with global stakeholders across multiple countries
• Strategic thinking- ability to think through and independently define priorities
