The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Management Accountant for its ILM India studio in Mumbai. You will support the India finance team in financial planning and analysis, cost control, and process improvement, contributing to the studio's financial sustainability in a dynamic entertainment environment.

Key responsibilities include AP processing in Oracle, FA/CIP close, GST/tax reporting, and management reporting. The role emphasizes cost management and strategic planning to support growth.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable – coding, reviewing, verification and processing invoices and payment runs; assist in closing AP in Oracle.
• Fixed Assets – maintain database including monthly additions/disposals; depreciation; GL reconciliation; close FA & CIP in Oracle.
• Oracle Financial System – implementation and ongoing support.
• Expense claims – coding, reconciling and processing expense claims.
• Credit Card Statements – coding, reconciling and processing monthly statements.
• GST/Tax reporting prep – assist in preparation of GST/Tax reports.
• Management reports like P&L statement, Efficiency Tracking.
• Cost Control – monitor costs to ensure studio is within budget; flag deviations and propose actions.
• Strategic Planning – assist in long-term financial plans to support growth and sustainability.
• Risk Management – identify financial risks and mitigate potential threats.
• Compliance and Audit – ensure regulatory compliance and assist audits.

Knowledge and culture flow freely between the company’s five studios and the global team shares tools and workflow allowing for seamless collaboration on all projects.
• As we grow ILM India, we are seeking a Management Accountant to be a member of our team and be a key part of this exciting opportunity.
• The Management Accountant will provide support to the India finance team, playing a key role in financial planning and analysis, process improvement and cost control
• What You’ll Do
• Accounts Payable - coding, reviewing, verification and processing invoices and payment runs in accordance with management approvals and controls, assist in closing AP module in Oracle after posting
• Fixed Assets - maintaining database including preparing of the monthly additions & disposals, running of depreciation, reconciling to the General Ledger, closing FA & CIP in Oracle and periodic review of physical inventories
• Oracle Financial System - Implementation and ongoing support
• Expense claims - coding, reconciling and processing expense claims
• Credit Card Statements - coding, reconciling and processing monthly credit card statements and ensuring payment reconciliations
• GST/TAX reporting prep - assist in preparation of reports for GST/Tax reporting
• Management reports like P&L statement, Efficiency Tracking
• Cost Control: Monitoring and controlling costs to ensure studio is within budget, highlighting any potential deviations and proposing corrective actions when necessary
• Strategic Planning: Assisting in the development of long-term financial plans and strategies to support the company's growth objectives and ensure its financial sustainability in the dynamic entertainment industry
• Risk Management: Identifying and evaluating financial risks that may impact the company's operations, implementing risk management strategies, and recommending appropriate measures to mitigate potential threats
