Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking an Associate 2 to join our Corporate Finance team. You will work across Finance, Accounting, Reporting and Legal Entity controls, contributing to outsourced solutions for a diverse client portfolio.

The role emphasizes learning, ownership of tasks, and delivering quality outcomes to drive client value. You will be exposed to multiple client engagements, collaborate with global teams, and develop technical finance skills while navigating complex situations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance/related fields.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance across accounting, reporting and legal entity controls.
• Prepare and post journals, review control balances, and perform month-end close.
• Prepare P&L and Balance Sheet trend analysis during month-end.
• Perform inter-company break checks and IC settlements.
• Prepare Bank Reconciliations and assist with month-end activities.
• Ensure quality control and contribute to process improvements.

As a Managed Services - Corporate Finance - Associate 2, you will engage in delivering outsourced solutions, supporting clients across various functions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency. Within our Assurance practice, you will execute processes such as client interaction, data review, and quality control implementation, contributing to the delivery of valuable services to our clients.

As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements while developing your skills and knowledge. Responsibilities

The candidate we are seeking will be supporting Finance Team across a spectrum of functions including Accounting, Reporting and Legal Entity controls. Specifically, theindividual will be fully/partially responsible for:

• Prepare and post accounting journals such as Revenue, Expense accruals, Tax accrual, Amortization etc. during month end


• Review and clear control account balances


• Prepare Profit and Loss account and Balance sheet trend analysis during month end


• Perform inter-company (IC) break checks


• Perform IC transaction analysis and process IC settlements


• Prepare Bank Reconciliations


• Perform end to end month end closure for certain international entities of EMEA region.


• Prepare Financial statements, corporate tax returns and various year-end audit requirements.


• Prepare VAT workings for EMEA corporate entities.

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree


• At least 2 years of experience


• Oral and written proficiency in English required
