Job summary

Skhaira is seeking a professional Makeup Artist to provide makeup services at customers' locations based on appointments through the Skhaira platform. You will visit clients, deliver high-quality makeup, and ensure customer satisfaction by arriving on time and maintaining hygiene of tools.

Required is proven makeup artistry experience, knowledge of techniques, own kit, and ability to work independently at various locations. Field/home-service role with strong customer-service focus.

We are looking for a professional Makeup Artist to join our team and provide makeup services at customers' locations based on appointments received through the Skhaira platform.

Role Overview

As a Makeup Artist at Skhaira, you will visit customers at their preferred location and provide professional makeup services according to their booked appointment.

You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality customer experience, arriving on time, carrying the required makeup tools and products, and completing the service according to the customer's selected service.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept and manage makeup appointments received through the Skhaira platform.
• Travel to the customer's location according to the scheduled appointment.
• Arrive on time and maintain professional punctuality.
• Provide professional makeup services according to the customer's booking.
• Understand the customer's requirements before starting the service.
• Perform makeup services such as:
  • Bridal Makeup
  • Party Makeup
  • Engagement Makeup
  • Reception Makeup
  • Festive Makeup
  • Basic / Everyday Makeup
  • HD Makeup
  • Other makeup services offered through Skhaira
• Carry and maintain the required makeup products, tools, brushes, and equipment.
• Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation of makeup tools and products.
• Ensure the customer is satisfied with the completed service.
• Handle appointments professionally and communicate the customers regarding service requirements.
• Update appointment status through the Skhaira platform/app as required.
• Inform the Skhaira team promptly about cancellations, delays, customer issues, or other appointment-related concerns.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior while visiting customer locations.
• Follow Skhaira service quality and customer experience standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Makeup Artist.
• Strong knowledge of makeup techniques and beauty products.
• Ability to perform makeup services independently at customer locations.
• Good understanding of different skin types, face shapes, and makeup requirements.
• Own professional makeup kit and essential tools.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable travelling to customer locations within the assigned service area.
• Ability to manage appointments and maintain punctuality.
• Professional, polite, reliable, and customer-friendly attitude.

Preferred

• 1+ years of professional makeup experience.
• Bridal and event makeup experience.
• Experience providing home-service or freelance makeup services.
• Relevant makeup/beauty certification is a plus.
• Own transportation is preferred for travelling to customer locations.
• Portfolio or previous work samples are a plus.
