MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsible for Pick and Place, Milling, Thermo Fuse locking, and conveyor systems technical availability.
Work in 3-shift operations and report to the maintenance shift in charge.
Have thorough knowledge of troubleshooting and programming of Panasonic pick and place machines (CM402, CM602 & NPMW, W2).
Have thorough knowledge of troubleshooting and programming of ASM pick and place machines (SX2).
Possess troubleshooting knowledge of Milling machines.
Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance.
Effectively escalate open points and major breakdowns to suppliers and resolve them promptly.
Work towards reducing maintenance costs.
Manage spare parts and follow-up for procurement.
Maintain MTTR below target levels and handle entire SMT line independently.
Identify root causes through 5 Why analysis as per defined criteria.
Apply strong analytical skills to solve machine and line problems.
Possess deep problem-solving abilities, e.g., 8D methodology.
Predict potential machine problems and take preliminary actions to prevent breakdowns (predictive maintenance).
Work on controlling scrap and droppage.
Engage in continuous improvement activities.
Achieve individual and departmental targets.
Work in 3-shift operations and report to the maintenance shift leader.
PLC knowledge is an added advantage.
Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes, safety, legal, customer, Bosch standards, and process specifications, and ensure team adherence.
