Job summary

Kyndryl in Bengaluru seeks a System Administrator to solve complex problems across mainframe and enterprise infrastructure, managing client systems data and day-to-day solutions while ensuring security compliance.

You will oversee ticket queues, support modernization initiatives, and collaborate with diverse teams to align infrastructure with business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IBM Z architecture, CPC configuration, and enterprise mainframe infrastructure.
• Experience in capacity forecasting, performance modeling, processor sizing, and resource optimization.
• Expertise in hardware lifecycle management, upgrade planning, and infrastructure capacity management.
• Experience with financial planning, ROI analysis, and technology investment planning.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware ESX, and public/private cloud environments, including on-premises to cloud migrations.
• Experience with IBM zPCR, zBNA, RMF, SMF, and mainframe performance analysis tools.
• Knowledge of LPAR configuration, Parallel Sysplex, workload optimization, and capacity planning.
• Experience supporting IBM Z hardware refreshes, upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with financial modeling, infrastructure budgeting, cost optimization, and vendor management.
• Understanding of ITIL Change Management and infrastructure governance processes.
• Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), vulnerability management, Active Directory, and ADFS.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, presentation, and decision‑support skills in enterprise environments.

The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services.
