Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of experience in Mainframe Application Development.

Key Responsibilities : * Analyze and assess existing mainframe applications to identify remediation requirements for cloud migration.* Modify and remediate COBOL applications for compatibility with Micro Focus Enterprise Server on AWS.* Review, update, and optimize JCL, batch jobs, utilities, and application interfaces.* Document application dependencies, business logic, and technical architecture components.* Develop, enhance, test, and maintain COBOL-based applications throughout the migration lifecycle.* Perform code remediation and resolve platform compatibility, performance, and application issues.* Support migration and testing of CICS online transactions, batch workloads, and related interfaces.* Assist with DB2, VSAM, IDMS, and flat-file data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.* Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps teams on AWS deployments and CI/CD implementation.
