Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Ideation and deployment of Digitization projects in manufacturing, covering instrumentation to MES, including ideation, scoping, and architecting as per ISA-95 guidelines.
2. Handling sustenance support function to Rockwell MES system.
3. Automation and integrated workflows to enable data fidelity and collection of data at source.
4. Interface of sustenance functions and automation to enable anticipated support on devices and applications.
5. Architecting digitization from sensors, edge devices, and MES functional deployment, collaborating with the Development team & Nerve Centre for diagnostic inputs.
6. Identification of digital transformation opportunities in manufacturing, converting into BoM, and enabling data from legacy and contemporary systems.
7. Data transformation and transfer, edge analytics, scenario creation for Machine-Line-Shop, and manufacturing analytics.
8. Consolidation of data generating device methods, sensorics for power/machine visualization, and cycle-based standardization for machines.
9. Data categorization for MES terminals and manufacturing devices, and enablement of data input from key touch points in the manufacturing value chain.
10. Supplier process data transfer and technology evaluation for projects.
11. Standardization of digital interface (HW/SW/embedded) modules for shop data integration.

Projects

1. Project planning and management (using MS Project or similar tools).
2. Deployment of MES and digitization projects in manufacturing from initial stages to Go Live and handover to sustenance.
3. Budget management of project and digitization development PoC.
4. Project reviews with stakeholders at plant level and central coordination.
5. PR to PO coordination with Asset Management.
6. Close coordination with all plant heads for scoping of machines lines and project deployment.
7. Synchronization with IT infra team on server/cloud and infrastructure requirements for projects.

Experience

10-15 years

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. /B.Tech) in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA & above.
