Job Title: Manager IT Operations

Job Location: Chennai

Experience: 7 – 10 years

Salary: 8 – 10 Lakhs per annum

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Managing IT staff and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.
2. Ensuring smooth functioning of day to day business operations for the organization.
3. Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
4. Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
5. Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance of all IT assets of the organization.
6. Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, whenever necessary.
7. Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems to ensure effective operation.
8. Generating performance reports for operating systems.
9. Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
10. Evaluating technology risks to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
11. Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
12. Interacting with department heads and software technology vendors for daily smooth operations.

Requirements:

1. Masters or Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
3. Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
4. Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including server, office, and exchange.
6. Management and leadership skills.
7. Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
8. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From ₹60,000.00 per month
