Mercor is hiring software developers who own a MacBook to work remotely on AI training data tasks. The contract role requires 10–20 hours per week at $50–$60 per hour.

You will build, debug, and review code for AI model benchmarking using macOS tools such as VS Code, Xcode, Terminal, and Git, while maintaining independent work habits and clear responsibilities.

Qualificações

• Must own a MacBook Mac with Apple M-series or Intel, macOS 15+.
• Hands-on programming in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, Java, or Go.
• Familiar with macOS developer tools: VS Code, Xcode, Terminal, Git.
• Pursuing or recently completed Master’s or 2–3 years related experience + Bachelor’s from a reputable institution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: $50–$60/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Complete and narrate real software development tasks on your Mac to create high-quality training data for advanced AI models.
• Build, debug, refactor, and review code to support AI model benchmarking and improvement.
• Work independently with clearly structured responsibilities, avoiding high pressure typical in internships or full-time roles.
• Utilize everyday developer tools on macOS such as VS Code, Xcode, Terminal, Git, and package managers.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• MacBook or Mac with an Apple M-series chip or Intel processor, running macOS 15 or higher.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages like Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, Java, Go.
• Comfortable with developer tools on macOS such as VS Code, Xcode, Terminal, Git.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed Master's studies, or 2-3 years of relevant experience + Bachelor's from a prestigious institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
