Job summary

NatWest Group in Bengaluru is seeking a Vice President level Machine Learning Engineer to drive deployment, automation, maintenance and monitoring of ML models in production. You will partner with stakeholders to ensure models meet business needs and promote data literacy across the organization.

You will design and automate ML pipelines, translate prototypes into scalable solutions, and lead Agile teams to deliver complex data projects across our analytics functions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced ML products powering our group for customers
• Codify and automate ML model production, including pipeline optimisation
• Transform prototypes and apply ML algorithms to production systems
• Plan, manage and deliver large or complex projects across multidisciplinary teams
• Understand business stakeholder needs and how ML solutions support strategy
• Productionise ML models with pipeline design, testing and deployment
• Create monitoring frameworks to ensure ML in production delivers quality and performance
• Address shortfalls via retraining processes
• Lead direct reports and wider teams in Agile environments to achieve Scrum outcomes

What youll do

It includes collaborating with colleagues to design and develop advanced machine learning products which power our group for our customers. Youll also codify and automate complex machine learning model productions, including pipeline optimisation.

Well expect you to transform advanced data science prototypes and apply machine learning algorithms and tools. Youll also plan, manage, and deliver larger or complex projects, involving a variety of colleagues and teams across our business.

Youll also be responsible for:

• Understanding the complex requirements and needs of business stakeholders, developing positive relationships and how machine learning solutions can support our business strategy
• Working with colleagues to productionise machine learning models, including pipeline design and development and testing and deployment, so the original intent is carried over to production
• Creating frameworks to ensure robust monitoring of machine learning models within a production workplace, making sure they deliver quality and performance
• Understanding and addressing any shortfalls, for instance, through retraining
• Leading direct reports and wider teams in an Agile way within multi-disciplinary data and analytics teams to achieve agreed project and Scrum outcomes
