Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years cement/mining industry experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years installation/commissioning/maintenance experience.

Responsabilités

• Supervision of E&I installation, testing and commissioning at site.
• Coordination with customer, contractors, vendors and HO.
• Maintain daily diary on site activities and prepare instruction sheets.
• Prepare weekly schedules and punch list items.
• Inspect equipment and report to HO.
• Advise customer on equipment storage and protection at site.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations.
• Oversee quality of work by customers and contractors.
• Prepare MOMs with customers and vendors as required.
• Prepare weekly reports, CAPA and special reports for HO.
• Participate in cold and hot commissioning and prepare reports with customer and contractor.
• Support plant start-up, load testing and optimization.
• Advise customer on plant operation and maintenance.

About the role

The Machine Control Specialist (PLC Engineer) is a senior technical field leader responsible for driving complex installation, commissioning, Aftermarket Service, and optimization activities across heavy industrial process systems, with a strong focus on the cement industry.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role serves as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders while directing multi-disciplinary field teams. The Machine Control Specialist combines deep Automation and Instrumentation expertise, specifically with Material Handling, heavy rotary and grinding equipment with site leadership, commercial awareness, and customer-facing problem-solving. This position plays a critical role in strengthening customer relationships, driving operational excellence during plant shutdowns, and generating service and spare parts business growth.

This position will require Extensivetravel to customer sites both planned and occasionallyon short notice.

About the department

Fuller Technologies Professional Service department is responsible to provide onsite support for it's Projects / aftermarket business in India. The primary responsibilities will be related toInstallation, troubleshooting, technical leadership for Projects & Aftermarket ServicesofFuller Technologies proprietary equipment. The Professional Service department works closely with Projects / After Market sales team.

YourResponsibilities:

• Supervision of E&I installation/ testing/ commissioning activities at site.
• Coordination with customer, contractors. Vendor & HO.
• Maintain daily diary on site activities.
• Preparation of instruction sheets / advice notes to customer
• Preparation of weekly schedules & punch list jobs.
• Inspection of FLS supplied equipment /parts & reporting back to HO.
• Advising customer on site storage, equipment protection of FLS supplied equipment.
• Adhering to Customer safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure quality of job done by customer and contractor
• Preparation of MOMs with customer and vendors as and when required.
• Preparation of weekly reports, CAPA & Special reports and forward to HO
• Participation in Cold and Hot commissioning and preparation of reports with customer and contractor.
• Plant start-up, load trials & optimization
• Advice customer on plant operation & maintenance.
• Must have site experience on E&I installation and Commissioning activities
• PLC/DCS programming /testing /Commissioning for Siemens / Rockwell / ABB / Schneider Systems.
• Programming / testing of Intelligent MCCs.
• SCADA / HMI Programming / Testing.
• Site supervision for C&I and Control system equipment installation / Commissioning in Cement / Material Handling / Mineral Processing Industries.
• Experience in FLS - Automation ECS (V7 /V8) will be an added advantage.
• Industrials Protocols like Modbus, Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet, Device Net etc.
• StrongTechnical Knowledge about, Field instruments and LV Electrical Equipment (LV Motors, MCC and PDBs) and FLS Standard to respective area
• Adequate expertise to trouble shooting.
• Focuses are both technical and leadership with execution targets (budgets).
• Interacts with technical personnel in the field and on the leadership level.
• Evaluates quality issues for the project, the machines and the system together.
• Manages support from headquarters to provide technical solutions.
• Identifies potential opportunities for Fuller Technologies products and services.
• Plans and organizes the job so that execution is on target (time).
• Advises customer and contractors on proper procedures and processes to guarantee technical specifications.

You bring

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
• 5 years of proven experience in cement / mining industry or other equipment / technology related.
• 3 years of proven experience in installation / commissioning / maintenance
• Leadership experience in project / aftermarket services for the cement / mining industries
