About the Organization: Lotus Petal Foundation has been in the nonprofit sector for more than 10 years. Jeevika – Jeevika is the skill development program of Lotus Petal Foundation. The focus is on developing communication skills and on building confidence within the child. In addition to studying for their courses, students also intern with various corporate and retail houses to get real-time experience.

Purpose of this position:

1. To train students in Hardware and Networking concepts.
2. Fostering equal opportunity practices and encourage students’ association.
3. Paying attention to cultural or societal differences in dealing with the students.

Activity List:

1. Provide classroom/online training in Hardware and Networking concepts.
2. Prepare and conduct training courses on Hardware and Networking skills and proper computer usage.
3. Maintain IT Lab, conduct practical assessments in the lab.
4. Evaluate the effectiveness of each educational session and maintain reports.
5. Maintain updated records of training curriculum and materials.
6. Provide job search/career information workshops and presentations as needed.
7. Facilitate career counseling, evaluation, skills training, job readiness training, and other activities related to employment.
8. Handle doubt or query sessions for the students.
9. Assign appropriate assignments and projects for hands-on experience.
10. Deliver course material as per the curriculum.
11. Consult, facilitate, and maintain communication with parents, teachers, administrators, and pertinent agents on specific student and parent academic and educational matters.
12. Provide feedback and recommend appropriate action and solutions to individual student’s academic and educational needs and abilities.

Qualifications/Skills:

1. Well-versed with the latest tools and industry updates related to Information Technology as per expertise area.
2. Must have experience as an IT (Hardware and Networking) trainer.
3. At least 2 years of teaching experience is essential. Desire and ability to work with students at the specified age level with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational goals.
4. Able to create content for the course.

About the person:

Educational Qualification: Graduate with Diploma in Hardware & Networking or Hardware & Networking certification. Candidates with MCSA and CCNA can be given preference.

Experience:

1. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience is essential.
2. Good English communication skills and personality.
