Job summary

Qualcomm in Hyderabad seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to debug and resolve USB and PCIe issues during design reviews and hardware bringup.

You will develop, debug, and maintain device drivers for standard peripherals, analyze complex driver-level issues reported by customers, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, validation, and cross-functional teams to ensure robust peripheral functionality.

Qualifications

• 36 years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Hands-on experience in device driver development on RTOS or other embedded operating systems.
• Strong proficiency in C programming.
• Solid understanding of microprocessor and multiprocessor architectures.
• Good knowledge of realtime/embedded programming concepts and RTOS fundamentals.
• Ability to independently debug complex issues, multitask, and work in a customer-facing technical role.
