Job summary

Quantiphi Analytics Solutions is seeking a Senior BI Looker professional to design, develop, and optimize BI dashboards using Looker, Power BI, and Tableau. You will create LookML models, work with data stakeholders, and ensure secure, scalable analytics solutions across BigQuery, SQL Server, and Snowflake.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience in BI, strong SQL, data modelling, and hands-on ETL/data engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Looker/LookML expert with strong BI experience.
• Strong SQL and database skills (BigQuery, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.).
• ETL or data engineering experience with modern data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize BI dashboards and reports using Looker, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Create and maintain LookML models, explores, dimensions, and measures for efficient data visualization.
• Collaborate with data analysts, stakeholders, and engineers to translate business needs into insights.
• Implement row- and column-level security and user access management in BI platforms.

Role: Senior BI Looker

Experience Level: 7- 10 years

Location: Bangalore/ Mumbai

( Please Note: for the initial 3 months you will have to relocate to Saudi Arabia)

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize BI dashboards and reports using Looker, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Createand maintain LookML models, explores, dimensions, and measures for efficient data visualization.
• Workclosely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business needs into actionable insights.
• Implement row-level security (RLS), column-level security (CLS), and user access management within BI platforms.
• Optimize BI performance by tuning SQL queries, caching strategies, and indexing techniques.
• Manageandautomate data pipelines, ETL processes, and integrations across multiple data sources like BigQuery, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
• Leverage Looker API for embedding visualizations and automating reporting workflows.
• Ensuredata governance, quality, and compliance while maintaining documentation for BI configurations.
• Workwith version control tools like Git to manage LookML changes efficiently.
• Train and support business users on self-service analytics and BI best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI dashboards, data models, and report accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications

• BITools: Expert in Looker (LookML), Power BI, Tableau, Sigma Computing.
• SQL&Databases: Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, working with BigQuery, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and Snowflake.
• ETL&DataEngineering: Hands-on experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, IBM Datastage.
• CloudPlatforms: Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure.
• Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting for automation and data processing.
• Data Modelling & Governance: Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data lineage, and governance best practices.
• API & Automation: Experience integrating BI solutions with Looker API and other automation tools.
• Project Management & Agile: Ability to gather business requirements, track project progress, and communicate updates.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills
