Job summary

Hexaware Technologies in India is seeking a Senior BI Engineer Looker Developer to migrate legacy WebFOCUS reports to Looker. The role combines data modeling with dashboard design and requires strong SQL skills and collaboration with business stakeholders.

Hybrid work arrangement in Chennai and Bangalore with a 1 PM–10 PM IST shift. You will build LookML models, Explores, and dashboards, validate results, and document migration decisions while leveraging AI-assisted tooling for code refinement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze WebFOCUS reports, procedures, calculations, filters, prompts and dependencies.
• Convert data preparation and reporting logic into SQL for Looker.
• Develop LookML models, views, dimensions, measures, joins and Explores.
• Design and build Looker dashboards and visualizations.
• Validate migrated reports against WebFOCUS outputs and document results.
• Coordinate with business users for UAT and sign-off.
