Job summary

Laundryheap in Bengaluru is seeking a Driver Operations Associate to onboard drivers, monitor live deliveries, and resolve issues across multiple markets. You’ll work at the heart of our fast-paced logistics network, coordinating with drivers and internal teams to keep orders moving smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in operations or logistics, strong communication skills, and comfort with rotational night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience onboarding drivers or delivery partners.
• Confident communication over phone, video, email and chat.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Onboard drivers via video and phone sessions and guide documentation/compliance.
• Monitor real-time delivery operations and assist drivers via phone, chat, and tools.
• Plan routes and resolve live delivery issues and escalations.
• Maintain KPIs, document processes, and support cross‑regional projects.

What You'll Do

Driver Onboarding & Activation

• Conduct video and phone onboarding sessions with prospective drivers.
• Guide drivers through documentation and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate background verification, training, and account activation.
• Ensure a smooth and professional onboarding experience.

Live Logistics Operations

• Monitor real-time delivery operations and driver performance.
• Support drivers throughout their shifts via phone, chat, and internal tools.
• Plan and optimise delivery routes for operational efficiency.
• Resolve live delivery issues including delays, route changes, and operational escalations.

Driver Support

• Handle driver queries relating to scheduling, payments, and operational support.
• Escalate and track complex issues through to resolution.
• Maintain adequate driver availability to support operational demand across multiple regions.

Operations Excellence

• Monitor operational KPIs and service levels.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support operational projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation and internal knowledge resources.
• Collaborate with teams across the UK, US, Singapore, and other international markets.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has 1-5 years of experience in Operations, Logistics, Customer Support, or Supply Chain.
• Has experience onboarding drivers, delivery partners, or field agents.
• Communicates confidently over phone, video, email, and chat.
• Can remain calm while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Is comfortable working rotational shifts, including night shifts.
• Has good working knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
• Enjoys solving problems and improving operational processes.

Bonus If You Have

• Experience supporting international markets (US, UK, or Europe).
• Experience in logistics, last-mile delivery, e-commerce, or startup environments.
• Familiarity with route planning, CRM, or live operations tools.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.

Work Schedule

• Office-based role in Bengaluru
• 5-day work week
• Rotational shifts (including nights)
• 9-hour shift (8 working hours + 1-hour break)
