Job description

The primary function of the role is to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. You should also be able to promptly resolve distribution issues and have strong negotiation skills. Responsible for responding to customer questions and complaints and for notifying customers about any delays in the delivery schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Reviewing and preparing drop shipment invoices.
2. Follow up on JC trans inquiries and gather leads from our platform.
3. Pricing process: Obtain better freight quotes from the agent.
4. Provide support for our existing customer shipments, including collection, coordination, and invoicing.
5. Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
6. Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and tracking of the shipments.
7. Addressing and resolving shipment issues.
8. Liaising and negotiating with freight agents.
9. Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels.
10. Ensure quality of all services and processes within the facility.
11. Coordinating with the Sales team for the smooth shipment from the vendor.

Education

Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50% - (preferred diploma/degree in logistics & supply chain).

Working Condition

Willing to work on shifts on a rotational basis.
