Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Logistics and Warehouse Manager to lead site-level warehouse operations in India, with a focus on SAP-based material control, stock optimization, and safety compliance. The role requires 10–12 years of relevant experience and proficiency in English and Hindi.

You will supervise inbound, outbound, and storage activities, coordinate with procurement and production, and drive continuous improvements, 5S adherence, and audit preparations across sites in India.

Qualifications

• Graduate or related field required.
• 10–12 years of warehouse experience.
• Experience with heavy-lift operations and crane management.
• Knowledge of SAP-based material traceability and serial number management.
• Proficient in English and Hindi.
• Experience with FIFO/FEFO and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including inbound, storage, and outbound activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to production.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory.
• Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy in SAP.
• Ensure timely posting of GRN, issue, and transfer transactions in SAP.
• Supervise warehouse staff and monitor performance.
• Conduct training on safety, 5S, and system processes.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, dispatch, quality, and delivery management.
• Support internal and external audits (finance, ISO, safety, etc.).

We are looking for Logistics and Warehouse Manager

Need a dedicated and energetic professional who has experience in Logistics and Warehousing activities at Site level:

• Knowledge of heavy-lift operations and crane management.
• Experience in project-based manufacturing logistics.
• SAP-based material traceability and serial number management.
• Exposure to rail industry quality and safety requirements.
• Supervise daily warehouse operations including inbound, storage, and outbound activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to production.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory.
• Ensure adherence to FIFO/FEFO principles and proper material handling.
• Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy in SAP.
• Analyse inventory variances and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure timely posting of GRN, issue, and transfer transactions in SAP.
• Supervise warehouse staff, assign responsibilities, and monitor performance.
• Conduct training for warehouse team on safety, 5S, and system processes.
• Ensure warehouse operations align with safety, EHS, and statutory guidelines.
• Maintain 5S
• Coordinate with procurement, production, dispatch, quality, and delivery management, T&C etc.
• Support internal and external audits (finance, ISO, safety, etc.).

Desired Skills:

• Graduate or related field required.
• Should have at least 10-12 years’ experience in Warehouse operation.
• Knowledge on designing tools and equipment used in warehouse.
• knowledge on warehouse machines, jigs, fixtures, hand tools etc.
• Well-versed in working with the Microsoft office suite, SAP ERP for Bill of Material (BOM), Routings, administrative applications.
• Results-driven approach having effective technical and inter-personal skills.
• Should be proficient in English and Hindi.
