Caterpillar in Bangalore seeks a Logistics Analyst to coordinate material availability, track orders and expedite shipments. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve stock issues and drive process improvements.

A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in logistics planning are required. We value strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to lead action plans with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Transportation teams.

Responsibilities include tracking orders, expediting shipments, managing stock issues, resolving record discrepancies, making decisions on sourcing changes, and providing training and support for Material Availability Analysts toward departmental objectives.**What You Will Do:*** Work with Suppliers to improve performance standards for suppliers* Delivering consistently below 95% on time* Suppliers with lack of capacity/capability* Suppliers with lack of planning or execution discipline* Collaborate with suppliers to get promise dates and actively follow-up & monitor progress on all the supplier's commitments.* Engage and discuss with Global Purchasing whenever a lack of supplier capacity/capability is identified.* Take ownership to lead the appropriate action plans for process improvements with Purchasing and other Process Partners including Warehouse and Transportation teams.**What You Have****People: -** Works effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels.**Leadership:** No direct reports.
