Job Summary

Career Area: Supply Chain and Logistics

The primary objective of this role is to support the Product Support Logistics Division (PSLD) in achieving its inventory and customer service goals while ensuring alignment with PSLD policies and business requirements. As a Logistics Analyst, the individual is responsible for supporting Production Withdrawal (PW) requests and addressing inventory optimization inquiries related to Caterpillar Parts. The role involves coordinating and managing workload activities to ensure timely allocation and shipment of materials for emergency and production line-down situations, while also ensuring inventory optimization requests are resolved efficiently to support supply planning objectives.

This function involves working on projects and ad hoc analysis to enhance systems and process efficiency within Cat Parts.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for providing Business and System support to Inventory Optimization queries.
• Responsible for providing Business and System support to production and supplier withdrawals.
• Develop automated processes to aid in data cleansing and maintenance using analytical tools.
• Identifying opportunities for improvements including cost, quality, and service of customer needs and issues.
• Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
• Execute adhoc requests from business partners and Inventory Management team.
• Work closely with global teams in making process improvements and enhancements to production withdrawal process.

Degree Requirement

• Bachelor s degree in engineering / Math s / Science / Commerce.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Supply chain management, Logistics, 3PL, Warehousing, Service parts Logistics and supplier performance management.
• SAS or SQL coding experience.
• Power BI visualization capabilities.
