Job summary

LyondellBasell in Chennai seeks a Procurement Professional to manage indirect sourcing and MRO and project purchases within a multinational framework. You will ensure GMP/5S compliance, stock control, and timely goods receipt while aligning with HSE guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or bachelor's in management or logistics and at least three years' experience with SAP and MS Office, plus fluency in English, Hindi, and Tamil.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in management or logistics.
• 3 years of experience in indirect procurement from multinational companies.
• Experience in MRO purchasing and project purchasing; other logistics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow HSE guidelines and ensure safe unloading, loading and handling of materials.
• Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and submit bills to finance; maintain records.
• Maintain FIFO for RM/FG/MRO, stock control and 5S, ensure tracing and GMP compliance.
• Coordinate interunit RM transfers and subcontracting processes; perform cycle counting.
• Support OTIF monitoring and address service-related customer issues.

Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Follow HSE guideline.
• Safe unloading, loading & handling of all incoming /outgoing materials.
• Safely storing of RM & FG as per the specified location with following the GMP process and keeping good traceability & Identification.
• Preparation of Goods Receipt Note (GRN) on time and submit bills to the finance & maintain.
• Ensure proper identification labeling on the receipt material & update the RM display board based on the location changes.
• Raw materials issue to production by maintaining FIFO and GMP procedure.
• MRO material issue to maintenance as per the Work Order.
• Conduct Cycle counting and periodic physical inventory (RM/FG/MRO/Packing material).
• Ensure FIFO process is followed while picking the materials.
• Plan & execute the interunit transfer of RM as per the requirement with vehicle arrangement.
• Execute Subcontracting process & reconciliation.
• Responsibility of good housekeeping at RM WH/Maintenance store & removal of unwanted materials from workplace Maintain 5S.
• ISO: 9001: 2015, IATF 16949: 2016, EMS 14001: 2015 and MIS reporting (daily, weekly and monthly.
• Maintain Inventory accuracy as per System vs Physical & Perform Physical Inventory.
• left-over grades monitoring for liquidation.
• Support for handling service-related customer complaints.
• Support for OTIF Monitoring.
• Participating in site VEP/LEAN/5S or related projects activities.
• Ensure replenishment of packaging stock based on the on-hand Export Order.
• Waste disposal & handling.

Education

Diploma/Bachelor degree with major in management or logistics related field.

Work Experience

• 3 years’ experience in indirect procurement from multinational companies.
• Experience in MRO purchasing and Project purchasing.
• Other logistics experience (planning, raw material purchasing, material control, customer service, warehouse and waste disposal management) is plus.

Skills & Language

Skill: Good command of MS office & experience of SAP.

Languages: Good written and oral communication in English, Hindi & Tamil.
