Job summary

Tata Capital is seeking a Sales Officer in microfinance to drive disbursements in Belagavi district. You will lead field teams, identify target groups, and manage repayments and delinquency while expanding reach through centre visits.

The role requires up to 5 years of sales experience in microfinance, with basic understanding of JLG models and customer service excellence. Graduate candidates are preferred, with a focus on growth in rural markets.

Qualifications

• Disbursement targets with minimal delinquency
• Identify Joint Liability Groups and disbursed loans for target geographies
• Develop and manage field teams across territories for market reach
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions
• Manage disbursement, repayment and delinquency with daily/weekly targets
• Follow up closely on non-paying loans and delinquent accounts
• Field visits, centre meetings and loan applicant interactions
• Maintain portfolio quality by tracking normals, non-starters, delinquencies and frauds
• Build strong client relationships and brand identification with customers
• Conduct weekly/daily centre meetings and visits
• Fresher to max 5 years exp as a microfinance sales officer
• Basic understanding of Microfinance and JLG model preferred

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency

• Enabling business growth by developing and managing a teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas & opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets
• Makes a close follow up of the disbursed loans, especially of the ones not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits, Centre Meeting and loan applicants
• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking & controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, & Frauds.
• Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and build a strong brand identification with potential customers.
• Ensuring weekly / daily meetings & visit to centre
• Fresher to maximum of 5yrs exp + as a sales officer in microfinance business
• Basic understanding about Microfinance business and JLG model working would be preferred.
