Job summary

Tata Capital is seeking a Sales Officer in Microfinance to drive disbursement targets with disciplined collections in the Ranchi region. You will identify JLGs, disburse loans, and manage field teams to expand market reach.

Freshers to 5 years of relevant experience are welcome, with a basic understanding of microfinance and customer service. Role entails field visits, client onboarding, and building lasting relationships with customers while ensuring portfolio quality and growth in assigned

Qualifications

• Freshers to a maximum of 5 years experience as a sales officer in microfinance.
• Basic understanding about Microfinance business and JLG model working would be preferred.
• Disbursement targets and delinquency management experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Achieve disbursement targets with minimum delinquency and manage collections.
• Identify Joint Liability Groups and disbursed loans aligned to targets and geography.
• Lead and manage teams across territories for market penetration and growth.
• Assess potential client base and opportunities for geographical expansion of operations.
• Conduct field visits, centre meetings and loan applicant verifications.
• Maintain portfolio quality by monitoring normal dues, non-starters, delinquency and frauds.
• Build strong client relationships and brand presence with customers.
• Coordinate weekly/daily meetings and visits to centres.

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency
• Identifying Joint liability Groups & disbursed loans, to suit the target customers and geographies.
• Enabling business growth by developing and managing a teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas & opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets
• Makes a close follow up of the disbursed loans, especially of the ones not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits, Centre Meeting and loan applicants
• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking & controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, & Frauds.
• Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and build a strong brand identification with potential customers.
• Ensuring weekly / daily meetings & visit to centre
• Fresher to maximum of 5yrs exp + as a sales officer in microfinance business
• Basic understanding about Microfinance business and JLG model working would be preferred.
