Job summary

PriMove Infrastructure Development Consultants Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced professional to plan and implement livelihood development in rural areas with a focus on agriculture, allied activities and rural tourism. You will train communities, strengthen farmer institutions and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive income-generation initiatives.

• Graduate or post graduate in relevant social or rural development fields.
• Experience in training, livelihood promotion and community development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify livelihood opportunities in tourism for women SHGs, FPCs and PACS.
• Design and deliver training programs to build skills in tourism livelihoods such as handicrafts, farming and eco-tourism.
• Prepare business plans for agri-tourism centers, malls, themed agri activities, vineyards or sericulture.
• Establish linkages with banks, buyers/markets and technical institutions.
• Support SHGs and groups to develop business plans for tourism-related enterprises.
• Facilitate market linkages for products/services of local communities during tourism influx.
• Ensure livelihood interventions are sustainable and contribute to long-term regional growth.
• Develop SOPs for running business activities and provide handholding to start-ups.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify potential livelihood opportunities in the tourism circuit, particularly for women SHGs, FPCs, and PACS.

Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills of local communities in tourism‑related livelihoods (e.g., handicrafts, organic farming, and eco‑tourism).

Preparation of business plans – Agri tourism center/ mall/ theme based agri. activities / vineyard/ sericulture.

Establish linkages with bank, buyers / market, technical institutions.

Support SHGs and other groups in developing business plans for tourism‑allied enterprises, including on‑farm and non‑farm activities.

Facilitate market linkages for products and services offered by local communities, ensuring they benefit from the tourism influx.

Ensure that livelihood interventions are sustainable and contribute to long‑term economic growth in the region.

Develop SOP for running business activities.

Provide handholding to groups for starting business activities and taking work forward.

Preferred relevant work experience:

Minimum7 years of experience in rural development, particularly inentrepreneurship and livelihood development.

Experience in providingtraining and extension servicesin agriculture, livelihoods and/or rural tourism projects.

Demonstrated experience working withmultidisciplinary teams, rural communities, farmers and civil society organizations.
