Job summary

Sunrise Biztech Systems Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru is hiring for a Linux Software Engineer role to work on Linux device drivers and Mesa graphics driver features.

The position requires 2-6 years of experience, involves upstreaming work with the open-source community, and is offered on a 12-month contract basis from Bangalore. You will participate in debugging, triaging issues, collaborating with peers, and contributing to open-source projects.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in Linux graphics driver development.
• Experience with RadeonSI Mesa and Mesa-based driver features.
• Upstreaming and open-source community participation.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in developing Linux device drivers and RadeonSi Mesa User mode drivers.
• Design and develop features for Graphics drivers in Mesa.
• Upstream the work, get it reviewed by the open-source community and merge in public driver repos.
• Participate in open-source community in review and responding to issues raised in the community.
• Active involvement into collaborative design and implementation of solutions based on open source and industry standards.
• Investigation, triaging, analysis and resolution of issues as reported by customers and QA.
• Debugging/fixing existing issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work.
• Developing technical relationships with peers and partners .
