Job summary

Proxelera in Bengaluru is seeking a Linux Device Driver Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join the team and contribute to platform software development, architecture reviews, and code collaboration. The role focuses on Linux kernel driver development across graphics, video, audio and power management, with strong C/C++ programming and hands-on Yocto work, tracing, and performance tuning.

Immediate joiners are preferred, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience with any one of the driver development domains.
• Graphics driver DRM/KMS, OpenGL, Vulkan, Mesa.
• Multimedia-Video driver – Vaapi, g streamer, v4l2.
• Power management – System to RAM, S0ix3.
• Display Driver development – X, Wayland, Weston, Display driver
• Audio sub-system and ALSA ASOC, Audio protocols like I2S/TDM.
• Proficient in Yocto development.
• Ethernet Driver – Network driver development.
