Job Summary
We are looking for experienced LIMS Consultants with 215 years of experience in implementing, configuring, developing, and supporting Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). The ideal candidate should have hands‑on expertise in LabWare LIMS or LabVantage LIMS, laboratory workflows, system integration, and life sciences/pharmaceutical domain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and support LabWare or LabVantage LIMS solutions.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into LIMS functionalities.
- Develop workflows, sample lifecycle management, test management, and reporting solutions.
- Perform LIMS enhancements, upgrades, validation, and maintenance activities.
- Integrate LIMS with enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, ELN, CDS, and other laboratory instruments.
- Create and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and validation documents.
- Support data migration, user training, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support.
- Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA+, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with laboratory users, QA teams, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
Required Skills
- 2–15 years of experience in LIMS implementation/support.
- Hands‑on experience with LabWare LIMS or LabVantage LIMS.
- Strong understanding of laboratory processes and sample management.
- Experience in LIMS configuration, customization, and workflow development.
- Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, XML, Web Services, and middleware tools.
- Understanding of SDLC, validation lifecycle, and change management processes.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical, life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, or chemical industry processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in instrument integrations and laboratory automation.
- Knowledge of ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook), CDS (Chromatography Data Systems), MES, and ERP integrations.
- Exposure to cloud environments and data migration projects.
- Experience in regulatory compliance and CSV (Computer System Validation).
- LabWare or LabVantage certifications will be an added advantage.
